Three Days at Paradise Meadows
A private retreat for leaders who need more than another conference room.
A few weeks ago a CEO and a colleague showed up at our door for three nights. No agenda emailed ahead of time, no workshop binder. Just a list of things keeping them up at night — business structure, a leadership transition, what it looks like for spouses to actually work together — and two full days to work through it with Lyn and me at Paradise Meadows.
They left with a rewritten purpose statement, a completed leadership assessment, and a transformation report they're still chewing on weeks later.
That's the whole model. We open a small number of these each year.
Who This Is For
Designed For High-Impact Leaders
You run something — a company, a family office, a foundation, a movement. You've read the books and sat through the retreats that hand you someone else's framework and call it done.
Unfiltered Truth & Strategy
What you actually need is three uninterrupted days with someone who's sat across the table from 400+ organizations in 30 countries, who will tell you the truth instead of the version that keeps the invoice friendly.
If that's you, keep reading. If you want a curriculum and a certificate, this isn't it.
How It Works
Before you arrive, you'll pick your top three topics. That's your agenda. We'll build the two days around it.
Three nights, two days. You arrive the first evening and settle in. The next two days are yours — full days of conversation, working through your three topics with Lyn and me.
What to Expect:
- Hosted at Paradise Meadows (farmhouse, glamping tent, or tiny house)
- Home-cooked meals and wood-fired hot tub access
- You leave with concrete deliverables: a document, assessment, or plan ready for Monday
Pick Your Top Three Focus Areas
The format of our time together allows us to meander into whatever topics are on your mind. It's helpful to know the top three you think you might like to explore while you are with us. Some of the areas leaders often like to dive into include:
Purpose Statement
Rewrite the sentence your organization actually runs on.
Personal Leadership Assessment
Where your leadership is strong, and where it's quietly costinf you (LEMON Leadership)
The 10-P Model
See how the 10 drivers of business impact work in your organization and life.
Foundational Principles
Dig into the bedrock beliefs that underpin how you run your organization and life.
Capital Deployment Strategy
Strategy for family offices & foundations sitting on capacity without clarity. Hint: all capital is at risk - one risk is that it doesn't produce a return on Earth, and the other that it doesn't produce a return for eternity.
Leadership Transitions
Handing off, stepping up, or stepping back on purpose instead of by accident.
Optimum Business Structure
The entity, ownership, and governance shape that actually fits what you're building.
Spouses Working Together
What it takes for a marriage to thrive while being a business partnership too.
Board Governance
Structure that serves the mission instead of the meeting.
Transforming Society
Apply the framework to your city, company or sector.
Bizcipleship
Building disciple-making into the core business processes, not as a tag-on program or something outsourced to a church.
Repurposing Capital
Aligning wealth with the universal foundational principles of capital, the ones you inherently care about.
Investing With Africa
Strategy for emerging-market capital deployment that applies beyond Africa.
Your Narrative and Convergence
The story you tell about work-life integration, sharpened and made true.
The thing you haven't said out loud yet
The Investment

Bringing more than two? Add anyone beyond the first two for $2,000 per person, up to a maximum of five people total (or four couples) staying on site.

Start with a Conversation
This isn't a shopping-cart purchase. We host a handful of these a year, so we start with a short application and a call — fifteen minutes, no pitch — to make sure it's the right fit and find dates that work.
